The Coos Bay, Oregon area is located on the Pacific Oregon Coast midway between San Francisco, California and Seattle, Washington. CITIES
Coos Bay and North Bend are the only two incorporated cities within Oregon's Bay Area, They are adjacent. Charleston is an unincorporated area to the southwest.
The City of Coos Bay is the largest of these cities with a current population of 15,470. It includes the communities of old town Marshfield, Empire and Eastside.
The City of North Bend with the magnificent McCullough Bridge, is located at the north bend of the Coos Bay channel, hence its name. It has a population of 9,370.
Located at the entrance to the bay (Coos Bay), Charleston is the area's largest commercial and sport fishing center.
